Beam's open weights are due “later this month”
Apache 2.0 license promised, but no date and nothing to download yet.
Reflection's announcement says the weights, technical report, model card and developer artifacts will be released later in October 2026, under the Apache 2.0 license. No specific day has been given.
Coverage has stressed what that means in practice: until the files exist, nobody outside Reflection's early-access program can run, quantize, fine-tune or independently benchmark Beam.
Reflection plans to launch the weights with distribution partners and integrations with open-source libraries, plus the full stack for running, evaluating and fine-tuning the model.
